Restaurant Training

Our training is tailored to the experience you bring to the table. There’s the Standard program for those with at least two years of experience, and the Expanded program for those who have only spent a little time managing a restaurant or a low-volume operation.

Week 1-2
First, you’ll spend time at our Home Office learning our culture and our way of doing things. This includes everything from best practices, hospitality and kitchen training, to menu knowledge and plate presentation.

Week 3-6
If you’re going to be managing nine different skill positions, you have to know how to do them yourself. You will spend the next few weeks in the restaurant learning the ropes of the various positions.

Week 7-8
It’s back to Home Office. You’ll get into everything that sets you apart as a manager – employee relations, loss prevention, back office, report analysis and cash management.

Week 9-10
The final part of your training takes you back to the restaurant (don’t worry, you’re finished with the cooking – for now). Here, you’ll learn the details of shift management and restaurant operations, before you set out on your own.
