What happens after I submit my resume?
Your resume will be reviewed by the recruiting coordinator. You will receive a response by mail or telephone within a week to ten days.
Does a recruiter always call?
You will either receive a telephone call or a response by mail.
What is the hiring process?
If an interview is scheduled, you will complete a multi-choice assessment, be interviewed by the recruiter, and will be scheduled for a drug screen. A background check will be conducted during this interval.
What about career advancement?
After training you will be an associate manager. On average, it takes approximately two years to become a GM.
Can I work with a family member?
We do have a nepotism policy for immediate family members. One of you may be asked to transfer to another Cracker Barrel location.
If I start on the Restaurant side can I switch to Retail?
Yes.
There is no store near me now. Will there be one soon?
Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc. continues to grow at 20-25 units per year. New locations are being opened throughout the country, with growth currently targeted East of the Mississippi River. We are always opening new locations. Look for us at a town near you, soon.
Can I apply to a job out of my state?
Definitely.
Does the company cover relocation?
Yes. However, there are different structures. Contact recruiters for more information.
Can I roll over my current 401K to Cracker Barrel’s plan?
Yes.
